FAQ: How do I add additional packaging levels to a single article such as secondary and tertriary packaging? [UNDER CONSTRUCTION]
- Go to 'Bulk editing' in the left menu.
- Download a Product Base template.
- In the packages sheet, add the dimensions for single package and enter the number 1 in the column packaging_number
- To add a secondary package to the same article, add another row with the same article number and enter 2 in the column packaging_number
You can continue with packaging number 3, 4, and so on, for any additional levels of packaging.
- In the column number_of_primary_packagings, enter the number of products contained in each secondary or tertiary package. For packaging number 1 (the primary package), this column should remain empty, as it refers to the product itself.
If you have information about the packaging type and material, add these in the corresponding columns. For packaging type, we have predefined values that you must choose from, which are the following:
- box
- bag
- pallet
- pallet
- container
- bundle
If you want to add more packages to a single product, simply enter 1 in the column packaging_type for all those rows.
For example, if one bike is packed in 3 packages, you should have three rows for that one article, each with packaging_number = 1.
