FAQ: What is 'Base Data' and 'Partner Data'?

Base Data is your own product data you've added to your products in SQARP. Base Data is supplemented using the standard editing features (UI/Bulk Editing Templates).

Partner Data is your partner's specific data requirements to fit their internal systems. Partner Data can be edited directly in the UI in My Partners or under Bulk Editing > Advanced > Partner Data. 

Supplementing Base Data means your own information grows stronger / more complete which can be leveraged with other partners and for your own purposes.

Supplementing the partner data directly means that information will only be available for this particular partner. If the AI has made mistakes you want to correct (and you have confirmed your Base Data is correct) we recommend editing the Partner Data directly.
