FAQ: How do I add and edit product descriptions?

You can edit your products directly in the SQARP platform, or in the Bulk Editing Templates.

SQARP platform

  1. Go to 'products' in the left side menu
  2. Search or choose the product you want to edit
  3. Choose if you want to edit variant or virtual descriptions
  4. Click on ‘edit section’
  5. You can now add new description blocks, delete or rearrange the order of description blocks.
  6. Click on ‘save section’ when you’re done.

Tip! You don’t need to fill in header, description and bullets for each block - but if you use a header, you need to fill in a description and/or use bullets.

Bulk Editing Basic Template

In the Bulk Editing Basic Template, use the columns description_header_1, description_1 and description_bullets_1 (located under ‘Product Descriptions’. Do not leave information in the header only, always include either a description_1 or description_bullets_1

To add additional description blocks, expand the template with ‘description_header_2’, ‘description_2’ and ‘description_bullets_2’.

Advanced Bulk Editing Template

  1. Go to ‘Bulk editing' in the left side menu
  2. Choose the 'Advanced' header
  3. Click on 'Media Descriptions' -> 'Product Descriptions'. Choose how many products (if any) you want to include and press 'Download Template'
  4. Upload your template (same location you downloaded the template).
